Mostly all plugins have these warnings… I personally tried the plugin and it does exactly what you need without crashing the website.
But if you have worries about that, Back up your site completely before proceeding.
There is an option to modify the theme core files (which we don’t recommend). If you want that, instead of the current theme you must use a child theme.
