The starting page of my blog is not my home page but one of the subpages (www.mydomain.de/blog).
The breadcrumb in the post now looks like that:

    Home/my category/my blog XYZ

But users can not navigate through the breadcrumb to the starting page of the blog.

Is there a way to either add the blog starting page automatically to the breadcrumb of each blog post? (best solution for me)
For example: Home/Blog/my category/my blog XYZ

or to change the Home with Blog and the link to the blog starting page?
For example: Blog/my category/my blog XYZ

    Hi, Tom!

If I correctly understand your question, the best solution for you is to add the Blog Loops to your Static Home Page using the Gold Addons For Elementor Plugin + Blog widget.(As I suggested you in the Post # 26758)

Another option is to set up your Homepage to display your latest blog posts, instead of the static Page with the Custom content, as you currently have. https://prnt.sc/sjuq1h
In this way, you can Insert the Header Image to it since it’s now “Home Page” https://prnt.sc/sjusmd.
Unfortunately, in this way, you can’t add the custom content to the page.

I hope it is clearer to you now.

    Regards

    Hello Zex,
thanks for your chick replies always. You seem to be online 24-7 😉

Actually I do not like the blog posts to be displayed on the homepage.

What I do like to have and that seems to be a bug either in WordPress or in the theme is, that the post display a correct breadcrumb even if the standard blog page is NOT the home page.

    Assuming the following clicks:
    1. User opens the homepage
    2. User clicks ob BLOG in the navigation
    3. User clicks on any of the posts

Now the breadcrumb looks like that:
    Home/my category/my blog XYZ

But from a good UX perspective, the user should be able to use the breadcrumb to navigate back from where he came from (the BLOG page). But this page does not appear in the breadcrumb …

Is there any way to do that?

    Thanks!!!!

    Hi, Tom!

Now I see the problem… unfortunately right now it’s no possible to have that.

I will ask our Head developer to add this option in the future release.

THANKS SO MUCH !!!!That would be a great blessing and I can imagine that it would be helpful for everybody who has a blog with static start page and a subpage with the actual blog …
