Design – Customizer: Script is stopping

Hello,
I have started a brand new website with Agama Pro Theme yesterday and each time I want to open the customizer, there comes an error message, saying that the script is not answering.
The script is: Skript: http://my_website/…tor,media-audiovideo&ver=4.8.2:3
Sometimes, after I click on “continue” it works and I can do customizations, and sometimes it just does not work. Any suggestions?

That means that you have installed some plugin which is causing this issue, the solution is that you start disabling plugins one by one and check your customization page, once your customization page will work normally you will see which plugin is causing this thing.

Hello Zex,
So far I only have “Vision Core” and “WPBakery Visual Composer” installed, nothing else. I have already deactivated WPBakery Visual Composer but without any changes with respect to the problem.

The customizer crashing issues can be resolved by adding next PHP code to wp-config.php file:

define('WP_MEMORY_LIMIT', '256M');

If this solution doesn’t help you please give us your admin user/pass, in private reply (or make new temporary admin user for us), so we can check the issue directly on your site.

I still have the same problem and trid with 3 different computers. After 3 times pressing “continue script” it is working. That’s annoying, but I can live with it.
Can ypu please try to add a user on wordpress? That does not work, but works in all my other wordpress pages, including the test page with the free Agama theme.

Hello, Peter!

Sorry for the long delay. I missed your post.

Adding new user is a WordPress feature and it’s not controlled by theme so it’s actually not issue related to Agama-pro theme.
(I even switched to the “twentyseventeen” theme and tried to add new user, and again didn’t work)
I found this article interesting
