I would like to show a page with a form for logged in users only. I tried a plugin called: Nav Menu Roles.(https://wordpress.org/plugins/nav-menu-roles/). When using it I do not get to change the roles in the menu. The support say that it might be connected to the theme. If the theme already is altering this part of the code.

    From the plugin page:

I don’t see the Nav Menu Roles options in the admin menu items?
This is because you have another plugin (or theme) that is also trying to alter the same code that creates the Menu section in the admin.

WordPress does not have sufficient hooks in this area of the admin and until they do plugins are forced to replace everything via custom admin menu Walker, of which there can be only one.

Can you confirm that this is the case? If so is it possible to implement similar options as in nav-menu-roles in the Agama Pro theme in the near future?

    Hello there!

First, check if you have another plug-in with a similar functionality activated. If it exists, deactivate it and try again.

In fact, I suggest that you first turn off all active plugins (except for the above)
and check that the NAV-menu-roles plugin works.
If in this case plugin work, activate other plugins, one by one, until the error occurs again, so you will know which plugin is making a conflict.
If this procedure does not help you, please give me your WP login credentials and address to your site, in a private reply (check “Set as private reply” checkbox below the post), so that I can check on whether I can help.

    Thanks

    Regards
