    I created the previous posts and was able to add images and media. I seem to have a conflict, possibly a plugin?

    Hello, Henrietta!

    I don’t see any problem with your website.

    Have you fixed something in the meantime?

    Anyway, if you want to check for a plug-in conflict, simply deactivate all plug-ins and check for options that don’t work. If everything works now, activate the plugins one by one until the problem reappears, on that way you can find the problematic plugin(s) if any.

    If the problem came up recently, try to remember what you did before it happened (Have you installed or activated the plugin(s) or updated something recently? …)

    Regards

    Is it possible to embed a youtube video into a blog post? I added the featured image and got the image at the top of the post. The post was supposed to start with a video from YouTube. I could see it in the video edit window and the text code as well. When published, the video did not show up,

    I’ve switched views to see if the video would appear and it did not. Also the HTML coding is not showing up.(Headers, links, paragraphs) The last thing I added was Visual Composer, a theme requirement. I get this server message: It seems that you have a problem with your server configuration that might affect Visual Composer. For more details, please visit system status page.

    The system status says Zip extension is not installed.

    Is there a way to use the theme without visual composer?

    Hello, Henrietta!

    Of course, it is possible.

    There are more ways to embed your youtube videos in the blog post.
    1. A classic Way:

    Or

    2. You can use a Page builder instead, (which I recommend.)

    You don’t need a Visual Composer. (You can freely deactivate and delete it)

    Since the theme version 1.4.6, we have switched to the Elementor Page builder instead of the Visual composer (WP Bakery page builder) so the WP Bakery doesn’t ship with the theme anymore(since the V 1.4.6).

    The reason we moved to the Elementor Page Builder (from version 1.4.6) is that, in our personal opinion, Elementor Page Builder is currently the best available site builder for WordPress.

    If you decide to use the Elementor Page builder to create your blog posts, please follow the steps below:

    1. Go to customizing->Blog->Single Post
    and turn off the “Featured Thumbnail” https://prnt.sc/p6bnod

    2. Go to Dashboard->Plugins->Add new and search, Install and activate “Elementor page builder” https://prnt.sc/p6bohx

    3. Create a new post (Dashboard->Posts->Add New)

    Choose the “Elemetor full width” template for the post, from the attributes tab.
    and save the post.

    4. Click “edit with elementor” button on top of the screen, to build your post.

    5. Embed youtube video using the video tutorial below:
    Video Element Tutorial | Elementor

    If you want to learn more about the Elementor Page builder, there are many good tutorials on the youtube, just search for the “Elementor”

    I hope this will help you to solve your problem.

    PS. Contact your hosting provider support to install the zip extension on your server for you.

    Regards

    Great! I am not a fan of page builders and will try reposting. The instructions in the ThemeVision theme state that the Visual Composer was required. I am glad that it is no longer required.

    Thanks for your help and for helping me identify the troublesome widget.
