Yes, we have changed some default colors on the Header, so it’s possible that during the update, some colors are changed (it’s possible in the case you have left it on default color scheme), Anyway, if that happens, it can be easily changed using the customizer.

Of course, it should work.

If you have the header image enabled and you don’t need it, you can turn it off, from
Customizing ▸ Header ▸ Header Image menu.

If the Slider is disabled, enable it from the Customizing ▸ Slider ▸ General menu.
