issues after update to version 1.38 – Contact page, text layout frontboxes, etc.

Hi Jerry,

After update to the new version I have some problems:

1) Text in the frontboxes with html code does not work, instead is showing the html-code, (I have to delete all html-codes “><” in this topic)
(example: …alle weiteren Interessierten.
p style=”text-align: center”span style=”font-size: 16px”strong>Wichtiger Hinweis!   Dieser BLOG bzw. diese Webseite können einen Arztbesuch nicht ersetzen. Die Inhalte dienen ausschließlich der Information und dem Austausch von Informationen./strong/span/p…”)

2) Contact page does not run: This is what it shows:

“script src=’https://www.google.com/recaptcha/api.js‘/script>

div class=“g-recaptcha“ data-sitekey=“6LcNdRYUAAAAAMhbB7wjZC7pOR6Ppaj-ZPQW08kC“/div”

3) On some sites you see the following statement with a red background: “revolution slider Fehler (fault):Slider with alias not found”, but the sliders are only activated on the first page (start site/homepage).

Hello Marion,

1) This is done with purpose to escape all custom html code in front page boxes headings.

2) This is strange and not standard behavior of contact template, please send me direct url to your website contact page where i can check what’s going on (admin details would be also good).

3) I will need website url and admin user/pass so i can check those pages where this error appearing.

1) The html-code is not in the heading field but in the text-field.

2) Url is: sugar-sweet.de

3) password and admin user comes with private reply.

Some news about solving the problems?

2) Resolved: Problem with the contact page was solved by myself. Problem was that because of the update the contact side has changed from the page attributes from contact page to standard page.

3) Resolved: Problem was that on some sides the slider option was activated, so I deactivated it. Don’t know, if this problem occured with the update or not, but however it’s solved.

1) Only the problem with the html in the text boxes not header boxes in the frontboxes I cannot solve without your help. No html is okay for the header boxes, but for the text boxes in my opinion not. It would be good, if you could change this.

Hello Marion,

The html escaping from front page text area is also done with purpose to secure theme from injecting unwanted code into front page boxes text area field (i will consider removing escaping code).

I have temporary disabled html escaping on your website front page boxes text area so everything is ok now.
