Nav menu links don't link to top of page in mobile

Hi again Zex,

I still have a problem with the navigation menu links in Agama Pro on mobile again.
When clicking on a link in the navigation menu on mobile the new page opens, but you are half way down the page, instead of the top of the new page where the navigation menu, photo and title is.

I’m using an iPhone 7 and tested with safari and google browsers.
Same problem with iphone 5 and 8

I also have other WP websites, and all using the Agama theme have the same problem.
I have even had remarks from clients and visitors on this problem.

I deleted all the history and cache in my iphone safari preferences and also reset the cache on the WP admin backend, but this has no effect.

I haven’t checked it on other phones this time, so I don’t know if it is iPhone or smartphones in general.

I can confirm your statement above but it seems that this is happening only on your website, please check if same issue will happen on our theme demo website:
http://demo.theme-vision.com

Review any changes you made to the theme since it could be easily your own fault.

Hi Jerry,

I think you are right, the demo site works fine.

Maybe I should start by turning off some plug-ins that are interfering.
I will also check by systematically removing bits of extra CSS to see if there is a problem there.
I am using the Agama pro version for 3 different sites.
I also have other sites running on other WordPress themes, but these don’t have this problem.

If you have any other suggestions, please don’t hesitate to give me feedback.

As soon as I have found the probem, I’ll let you know the details.

Hi again Jerry,

I think I found the problem.
I deleted the extra css, did not work.
I turned off all plug-ins and checked the site again.
of course it was a lot of code i got to see, but I was finally at the top of the page.

I then re-activated Vision core and WP Bakery, site on mobile still working fine.

Then I activated Layerslider WP and the problem reappeared again, you end up half way down the page.

I then went an activated all other plugins except Layerslider WP and the problem disappears.
Of course there is no slide (only a piece of code with a layerslider id), but you are at the top of the page.

I have tried disabling the slides on mobile, but the problem still persists, you are half way down the page but without a slide visible.

Is there a trick or fix to solve the problem, or should I ditch Layerslider WP.
Preferebly not, but if there is no other way, let me know.

I have disabled the Layerslider WP slides on the pages at the moment and am using your agama header image as a working alternative.
This works fine as I have no Layerslider WP slides with more than one slide, only using a text layer that was not visible on mobile.

I am using the Layerslider WP on two other sites with slideshows, so I can not replace these with the Agama Header option and would like to find a solution or the error on my website.

Did you try another slider plugin?

I found the following slider very good:

With the theme, you also got a Slider revolution plugin, so you can try it too.

If these plugins do not work for you, it’s completely safe to write your credentials in a private response (just check the box “post as a private reply” below the post) which ensures that the data is visible only to me.

I’m sorry about the delay.

Yes, I actually checked your site and did not find any problem, so I asked our head developer to check it again, that I’m 100% sure. (I enabled the slider before I tested it).
Since we are currently working on the major theme update, it may be that it’s a bit busy these days …
I hope it will check the problem soon.

Was out all day.

Thanks for checking anyway.
I have started using Agama Pro Header images instead and this works fine.
Hasn’t been a problem on android or windows phones,
so might be a combo of certain iphones and certain providers here in Belgium.
