Place feature image above front page boxes

Hi,

I was wondering if you have some code that would allow my homepage (static front page) to display a feature image above the front page boxes so that I can add offers. I have tried the agama slider but it was very very slow to load, feature images are quick.

I would still like the general editable text to display below the front page boxes.

Hello, GreenJersey!

Unfortunately, currently, that is not possible without changing the theme core files, which we don’t recommend. For now,the only way to achieve that is to make a Custom Frontpage Boxes using the Elementor or WP_Bakery page builder(in that case you will need to turn off the “Front page boxes” ).
