Hi, my portfolio works really good, but I need to create two different portfolios categorization is not enough taking into account that one is about our products and the other one about our services, the thing is I do not know how can I separate them, they are mixed.

If I correctly understand your question, you need to create two different pages for each category (Please correct me if I’m wrong)

Unfortunately, just one Portfolio page is allowed.

But you can solve that using the Main (parent)category/subcategory system.

You can have one main page, with the filter of the available product and services on it.
To have that, create your e.g. “What we do ” page as a main portfolio page

then make your “Products” and “Services” categories as a Main-(Parent) Portfolio categories, and the products and services related to these categories as subcategories so on that way you will be able to show the of filter your products by Categories/subcategories on one page.

Important:The portfolio category name must be one word (without space), (e.g “industrial_supply” ) otherwise the filter on the main page will not work.

There are two possibilities why that happens

1. you didn’t assign your single Product/Service Portfolio items to the main category…

2. maybe you missed the Important message from the previous post.

Important:The portfolio category name must be one word (without space), (e.g “industrial_supply” ) otherwise the filter on the main page will not work.
