I created a “Masonry Media Grid” with some visuals. Now I want to set links on each visual to lead the visitor to the documenation which is a page inside my website.

    How does that work??

    I`d be happy for advice!

    Hello, Cacwaq6!

Unfortunately, that is no possible with the “Masonry Media Grid” Element.
Instead, you can use a “Single Image” element which has an option for adding a link to the image, You can get the same look as with the “Masonry Media Grid” element just need to little bit tweak the element settings.

    Hello Zex,

thanks, but is that really the only way? That one you described is very simple and poor. Actually I bought Agama Pro to have a rich tool with which I can present my work adequatly with create great effects.
Example: the hoover-effect to darken the visual and show an icon or an description. What about filters? Is this also manual thing? What if I want to alter one feature for all visuals? I’ll have to alter them one by one?

Agama Pro is claimed to be a professional theme to present a portfolio. Designers generally need to show more than one visual to present a project. Did I buy the wrong theme? The core feature of it is worthless to me!

    Looking forwart to your reply.

    Hello,Cacwaq6!

    Sorry for the misunderstanding…

Actually, if you want to make a portfolio page, please check the following guide from our knowledge base:

    http://docs.theme-vision.com/article/setup-a-portfolio-page/

A WP_Bakery page builder which comes with our theme is a great tool for making stunning and beautiful pages and if you want to use it to make a portfolio page, there is a Vision portfolio shortcode for that purpose.
Please check the VIDEO GUIDE to see how to use it properly.

If you need more help, feel free to contact us again.

    Best Regards

    Hi Zex,

thanks, I found those tutorials anyway. Still my problem is not solved yet:

I need to show more than one visual inside each project in the portfolio. I your example there is only the featured picture like a car in example “jpcars”. What if there’d be more pictures to show?

    Looking forwart to your reply.

    regards

    Hello @Cacwaq6,

If i understand you properly you want more than 1 image to show inside single portfolio page, is that right ?

We can easily add extra images fields in next update if that’s what you need.

    Hi Jerry,

yes, that is exactly what I ment.

    When can that be realized?

So if you implement that in your next update I’d like also to be able not to show the projectdetails (like published by/completed/URL Link)

In the meantime, can I set a link on the featured images to open another side (in which i present my project) Maybe through editing a grid manually?

    Thanks!

Unfortunately you cannot set a link for featured image in meantime since there is no proper code for that right now.

But i can assure you i will start working on the update immediately so maybe i could release it even tonight since i see you are in hurry with this 🙂

You will be noticed very quickly once update is pushed live.

Yes, just let me know one thing, when you add multiple images to single portfolio article do you need url option for every image or one url option to be used for all images?

I don’t need an url option for every single image.

One for all is fine. But it’d be great if even that and the other informations like “published” and “completed” could be shown optional. For printed projects that is irrelevant.

Thank’s for suggestions, the option for “published” or “completed” could be implemented as image ribbon for example or you can explain how did you imagine that feature and where it should apply.

Ribbon or list – I’d just like to switch it off optionally. It should be applied underneath description.

Much better would be if you provide a custom configuration with the option to ad a testimonial with a foto.

And also I’d love to create my own Headline instead of a the redundant word “Projectinformation”!

Iam sorry but as you asked me I see more to optimize!

Ok we will do basic update so you can have more freedom to portfolio details customization.

Also the multiple images upload function will be added with custom url option for images.

This will be our first step, later we can discuss and add even more features, we are open to great ideas.

    I’m working on newest update.

The update is on the way and it should be released until tonight or tomorrow night… we are updating few more sections besides portfolio so it’s time consuming job.

    Thanks for your patience.
