    Hello,
I have installed the plugin for the multilanguage translation (I need my website in English and Italian) named Multilanguage by BestWebSoft. No problems to translate all the pages (I do it manually with the plugin) and the switch to change language in the navigation menu works. The problem is that I can’t have the double language in the homepage, the vision portfolio and the navigation menu. In particular, the homepage can be edited only through the customize button, being the page blank in the list of the pages (like there are no contents in the page). Since this plugin works page per page, home and vision portfolio cannot be translated. Also the navigation menu can be only in english or italian.
Can you help me? Should I use another plugin? My website is http://www.mzmgraphic.com
    Thank you for your support,
    All the best,

    Michele

    Hello Michele!

I have no experience with the plugin you provided, but I can recommend a Polylang plugin that should help you. You can look at the Site, created with Polylang and Agama-Pro theme

    Please check the video tutorials

You can also try using the Google Language Translator Plugin

Please, check out the post in which is explained how to put Google translation into the primary navigation of the Agama Pro theme.

    Dear Zex,
thank you for your reply but Polylang does not solve completely the problem unfortunately. It is similar to the other plugin, but polylang allows me also to change the menu language, that is ok, an in theory it allows me to translate also the home page. The problem is that the agama slider that I have on the homepage is not reported on the second language page, it disappears. The other problem is that I translate the text in the frontpage boxes but, actually, the translation is present on both the bages. In other words, I have only a language on the homepage and no slider on the “translated one”…

    Sincerely,
    Michele

    Hello, there!

If this did not help you, you can try to do the following:

Instead of the Agam Slider, make a two Layer Sliders, for each language separately, then place them each on his own page.

    next,

You can create different front page boxes on each page with a WP_Bakery Page builder.

Please check the video tutorial on this link.

    https://theme-vision.com/forums/topic/agama-pro-front-page-boxes-not-supporting-multilingual-links/

I think that way you can achieve what you need.

    Best Regards

    Dear Zex,
thank you for your support. Polylang is working well. Concerning the homepage I prefered to copy parts of the source code of the homepage and paste it on the translated page. I had to do some work on it but at the end I could reproduce the homepage in the two languages.
With polylang I could also translate categories and skills for the protfolio. But something doesn’t work. In the english page, the category menu works well, but in the italian page, when I click on some categories no items are diplayed while clicking some other ones the items are displayed. I don’t understand the problem, since I used the same procedure for all the categories.
    Any idea?

    Thank you,
    Michele

    Dear Zax,
I have solved the problems with categories, now all items are displayed when I select a category.

    All the best,
    Michele
