Hi I’m writing this Topic because I’m suspecting that an overall update on all Vision themes will be needed.
Not sure if it is an issue that affected my website because of other plugins that I have installed or just because the outdated theme framework…
Basically it is given to an update that google made a couple of months ago and that will take effect in the next months to come. For this you need to Check: https://developers.google.com/search/docs/data-types/breadcrumb

It is referring to modifying data-vocabulary.org with schema.org declaration in the html page coding, as it results from my crawl test in search console

    Original html:

    …<span itemscope itemtype=”http://data-vocabulary.org/Breadcrumb”&gt;<span itemprop=”title”>Home</span></span><span…

    Updated html: <span itemscope itemtype=”http://schema.org/Breadcrumb”&gt;<span itemprop=”title”>Home</span></span><span

And so on for other pages ….

I’m not a programming expert but as I’m looking to the Html coding lines I can’t find any other reason except for theme’s classes … as the code continues with <span class=”vision-breadcrumb-sep”>/</span><span class=”breadcrumb-leaf”>

Also not sure if it is because of this, but my site seems to have been already penalized by google search engine at impressions and page rank level as it decreased at 30% – 40% after this warning came up…

Hope to hear back from you soon!
Thank you theme vision team 😉

    Hello,danielit2012!

I’m very sorry for the late reply, your post has been hidden(marked as spam) so I didn’t saw it until now…

Our developer team is already informed about this warning and they will implement a necessary fix.

    Thank you for mentioning that.

    Best Regards
