White screen of death with layerslider WP

We get the white screen of death when Layerslider WP is activated.
On the site backend I get a message that Layerslider WP needs a security update.

Message is the following: “LayerSlider Security Update Recommended
Several security issues were fixed in the latest versions of LayerSlider. If you haven’t done it already, please update to LayerSlider 7.2.1.”

But I can’t update layerslider, as it came in the package with Agama Pro!

Can you please advise as we can not use the site with the layerslider activated!
