I’m not able to enable sliders or do anything with my front page as far as adding a large photo with particles.

    Hello,
If I correctly understand your question, you want to modify the Front Page, and have the separated “Blog” page for your Blog Posts,

In order to be able to modify your Homepage, your Homepage needs to be a Static.

Please follow the instructions from the following post to create the Static Front Page:
    https://theme-vision.com/forums/topic/custom-home-page-static-page/#post-13394
    https://docs.theme-vision.com/article/how-to-set-up-a-static-homepage/
Once when you have a static Frontpage, you can edit it with the page builder (we recommend the Elementor Page builder) and add to it whatever you want.

To enable the slider on your static Front Page, edit your front page (Dashboard->Pages->your front page/edit)
then scroll down to the bottom of the page, and enable slider on the page in the “Agama options” meta box.

    Hello, Jacob!

Your static homepage must exist on the list of pages. “Front-page” should appear in the page name extension

Are you sure you exactly followed the steps from the following link?:
    https://docs.theme-vision.com/article/how-to-set-up-a-static-homepage/

If you need I can create a Static Front Page for you. In that case, I will need your WP Admin Username and Password in the private reply (Check the “Set as private reply” checkbox below the post.

    Thank you.

    Regards
