ParticipantHi. I´m trying to add a Bookin Calendar -plugin to widget area so that calendar itself comes ja opens visible only by clicking a link or headline. So only the headline e.g. “Book here” should be visible and under that should be a booking calendar itself.

ModeratorHello, Marjo!
Which exact widget (plugin) you are using for that?
Can you give me a link to download it, so I can test it on mine localhost? Thanks

ParticipantThanks for your fast response. It´s “Booking Calendar” -plugin. Plugin itself works fine, but all of it is visible in the widget area. I´d like to have it to be used “behind” a headline, link or button or something like that. So I mean my widget area would look like: (underlined) booking contact about. And behind those headlines or links would be the action itself.

ModeratorHello Marjo!
There is the way to do what you need:
1. Open Dashboard->Plugins->Add New and install and activate the “Collapsible Widget Area” plugin.
2.Open Dashboard->Appearance-> Widgets
3. Insert a “Collapsible widget” into your sidebar area.
4. Insert the “Booking Calendar” widget into “Collapsible Widget Area” widget area.
5. (IMPORTANT) Give the title to your Booking Calendar widget.
Please check the screenshot below:
If you followed the above steps your sidebar area should be something like this:

ParticipantHi and thanks so far. It looks like working with almost all the options, but.. The only option when it doesn´t work well is what I wanted to. With those options what I got from you, the whole contect doesn´t appear. Only couple of rows of the calendar opens and exists and the rest is hidden. Perhaps there is a bug in collapsible widget.

ModeratorHello Marjo!
Please check the collapsible widget height options…
Are you sure you have selected an “Each panel limited to height of its own content” radio button?
https://prnt.sc/k6zd4uIf you have done this and there is still a problem, you may have a conflict with some of your activated plugins. To check this, try temporarily turn off ALL active plugins and check again.

ParticipantI´m sorry but doesn´t help. I have done all of that now, but still have same problem. The whole content of the calendar doesn´t appear with that “Each panel limited to height of its own content” option. It´s okay othervise, but heres only a few rows of the calendar after clicking the button. With other options it looks like it should be.

ModeratorHi,
You may need to look at Booking settings.
Another problem can be a conflict with some of the plugins you have activated, so I suggest you check the plugins.
Deactivate ALL plugins temporarily to see if this resolves the problem.
If this works, re-activate them individually (one-by-one) to find the problematic plugin(s).Regards

ParticipantThanks. I`ll try that. I can also give you username and password in private if you want to check out my customers website. I can´t figure out what´s the problem. Must be some bug or something else.

ModeratorHi, Marjo!
I activated the plugin on my test site at the local host and the plugin works well, so I think it’s a conflict with some of your plugins (and it’s not a problem in the theme).
But if you do not have other solutions, you can give me your WP login credentials in a private answer, And I can check the problem anyway.Regards

ModeratorHi,
I have checked your website and found that the problem with the scrolling is caused by the “Nicescroll” option, located at Customizing ▸ General ▸ Extra menu.
So I have turned it off and now your widget works well.
