Word wrapping on website not working

Instead of a word getting pushed to the next time, words are being broken up with hyphens. Is there something I can do to fix this Jerry? I don’t remember seeing this happen before.

Sorry about that Zex, didn’t notice it wasn’t Jerry. I see that it’s wrapping properly on the screenshot you sent me. On my screen there are two places it cuts a word up in the real estate you sent me pic for.

The only thing I can think of is that I installed Yellow Pencil Editor. I’ve used it for a few customizations. I wonder if it’s mucked with my word wrapping. I’ll uninstall it and see if it makes a difference.

That is not the plugin related issue because works well on my computer, as you can see.

I suggest you to clear the browser’s history and cache first, then check again.

What browser you use?

So I uninstalled the plugin anyway. Then I went to “customize” to see if I can change the background colour of the body and the footer. Problem is now that the customizer won’t load.

Again, we’re looking at http://www.changingpaces.com and here’s the screen shot of the error I’m getting with the customizer…

Hi,
…well this can be a plugin related issue.

I suggest you to temporarily disable every active 3rd part plugins on your site,
to check that this is not a problem. If this helps, then re-enable them one by one until the
issue happens again so you’ll know which one was the cause.

…Or you can provide me your admin user/pass in private reply so i can
check what is the problem.

I’d be happy to have you take a look around and try what you think might help. I’ve since reactivated Yellow Pencil and tried to replicate my customizations – didn’t realize I should have backed those up.

The most primary issue that I need to resolve now is that the menu header area has an invisible background so you can barely see the logo and the menu. That must have happened when I updated 20 some plugins this morning.

For the transparent Header issue, you probably need just to turn off the Header transparency in:
Customizing ▸ Header ▸ Header General

I have checked your website and found that a Fast Velocity Minify plugin
causes whole problem , so I disabled it and now everything works fine.

Thx Zex. At my end, the customizer still won’t load and the home page has lost all it’s home page features. I had a slider and featured boxes and they’re both gone.

When i look at the header image it’s got something animated floating around. Lime green dots connected with lime green lines that are continually floating and reshaping into various geometric shapes. Where did that come from?

I have resolved the issues on your site.

The Customizer works well on my computer,
To open it ,just go to: Dashboard->Appearance->Customize.

Becouse you have a static front page:

To enable Slider on Static pages, you must edit the page, (“Pages->Edit”)
scroll down to the “Agama Options “on the bottom of the page and enable Slider.

from the ‘Home page’ to ‘Front Page’, and now front page boxes work

These animated things are called “Particles” and you can enable or disable it on, Header and Slider area.
For the Header,
The particles option is located in:
Customizing ▸ Header ▸ Header Image & Video
