ParticipantDear Zex, thanks a lot!
a couple of requests:
1. here is the link to the post (format: Aside) where the featured image is overlapping the post content:2. I would like to have the chance to select the size of the featured image in the post, for example:
– here, the “full width” image is perfect (the image is anyway originally wide):
– while here, I would like to avoid the image occupying the full width of the post:another option could be to have simply chance to show the featured image “as is”, I mean with its original size (so I will have large images if they are wide, e.g. 1200×600, small images is they are small, e.g. 250×250)
thanks a lot Zex!!!!!
ciao

Participantthx a lot Zex!
can you solve also the problem of the overlapping of the image on the text of the post, when Aside, or Image (or any other type of format) is selected for the post, and when the browser is resized-reduced?…
moreover, can we change the way how Agama manage the featured images in the post? Agama cuts the top and the bottom of the image, leaving a rectangular imagethank you once more!

Participantsorry Zex, one last item: how to change the height of the area of the header?… it is really wide…
even if I put an image long and narrow, the height of the header is the same (see example in LABS page – with white stripes on top and bottom)
thx again!!!!!

ParticipantSorry Zex, one last question: is it possible to resize the header image, while you reduce the size of the browser? I understood that it should be done via the part of the code you wrote:
display: block;
margin: auto;
text-align: center;but it seems not working…
thx once more!best regards

Participantsorry again Zex.. I did it, but no way… π it doesn’t work
now in the CSS code I have put the same image:
http://www.nuclearenergy.test.polimi.it/wp-content/uploads/2017/01/sample-slide-2.jpg
on pages PEOPLE, RESEARCH, EDUCATION,
while two different images on pages LABS and CONTACT US
but as you can see, there is the same image – another one – on all the pages… i.e. the same image present as “Current Header” in the Customising > Header > Image&Video menuI tried also a combination of different options: hiding or randomising the image, enable “on” or “off”, and in Additional CSS also putting a value 1200px into Media Width or tagging Start Fresh to activate the option “Don’t use the theme’s original CSS.”…
but no effects!I think the problem is that the Additional CSS code is overcome by the Image&Video code…
please check and see if you can find a solution, it is quite strange..
ciao! thx again…

ParticipantZex, not really, sorry… if you reload that page 69, you will see that the header image changes randomly
I don’t want a RANDOM image (as it is now), I want EXACTLY a specific image (not changing randomly) as header on that page… (and I want to select a specific image on each specific page)
I already did what you did… but no success, as you
it seems that the additional CSS code is overcome by the Image&Video enabled header, so the CSS doesn’t workplease try again… thx!!!!! π
ciao

Participantsorry Zex, I tried as suggested, but no effect… π
In Additional CSS I put the following:.page-id-69 .wp-custom-header img
{
content:url(http://www.nuclearenergy.test.polimi.it/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/cropped-2014-mangiarotti-2.jpg);
}without success…
I tried also with “Enable On” and “Enable Off” in Customizing > Header > Image&Video
but no effectthx for your help!
