I could manage now to get the “house” symbol. I am sorry – really do not understand why i could not find it the last days. Then my only remaining question is:

* How can I manage to increase the distance between the icon and the navigation text?

Yes exactly. I could not find it in my list and I found another problem yesterday. I could not find a dialog to configure the distance between the navigation text and the icon. So for now I removed them all. If you have an idea how to define the distance and where to get the “house” icon fixed, I would greatly appreciate it.
